I am terrified.

When I was diagnosed with type one diabetes at age 12, I was fearless. Now, as a 26 year old, I am terrified. My job and health insurance are at risk due to the COVID pandemic and I fear losing access to the insulin and diabetes supplies I need to live. I advocate alongside my diabetes community because no one should have to worry about how to afford the medication they need to live.
